Hi there! Thanks for visiting. I’m an arts administrator, sometimes writer, sometimes photographer, born and raised in Queens, NY, to Colombian-born parents. I live in my native borough with my husband and two children, where we can often be found listening to records, looking at art, taking long walks, and escaping to the beach.
With nearly 20 years of experience in the visual arts field, I’ve focused on using digital tools and platforms to make culture more accessible to broader audiences. Since 2022, I’ve served as the Assistant Director of Digital Content at the Whitney Museum of American Art, where I lead digital strategy and production, overseeing website content, social media, digital programs, imaging for temporary exhibitions, video, podcast minisodes, and third-party content, including Bloomberg Connects.
In July 2025, I began my term as Board President of ArtTable, the leading national organization dedicated to advancing the leadership of women and nonbinary professionals in the visual arts. I was elected to the board in 2023, having been a member since 2013. In 2018, I ran for and won my local election for a seat on the Queens Democratic County Committee and received an award for Hispanic and Latinx Leadership from the New York City Council. In 2020 and 2022, I was honored to be re-elected to the committee.
In addition to over fifteen years of experience in arts communications, I highlight women in creative fields through freelance writing, with features in The Fold and Good Company Magazine. I previously spent eleven years at Public Art Fund, most recently as Director of Digital Strategies, where I led all digital initiatives—including web, video, podcasting, social media, and digital archives—and collaborated on brand identity.
Earlier in my career, I worked at the Queens Museum, where I helped launch the museum’s social media presence in its early days. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education with a concentration in Photography from SUNY New Paltz and a Master’s degree in Arts and Cultural Management from Pratt Institute. My roots in the arts run deep, beginning with my time as a teenager at NYC’s LaGuardia High School for Music & Art and Performing Arts.
