Hi there! Thanks for visiting. I’m an arts administrator—sometimes writer, sometimes photographer—born and raised in Queens, New York, to Colombian-born parents. I live in my native borough with my husband and two children, where we can often be found listening to records, looking at art, taking long walks, or escaping to the beach.
I’ve spent twenty years working in the visual arts, helping cultural institutions connect with audiences and tell their stories. While much of my career has focused on digital strategy and content, my work more broadly sits at the intersection of culture, communication, and access—thinking about how museums and arts organizations can reach wider publics and deepen engagement.
Since 2022, I have served as Assistant Director of Digital Content at the Whitney Museum of American Art, where I lead digital content strategy and production, website content, social media, digital programs, imaging, video, multimedia, and content on Bloomberg Connects. Prior to joining the Whitney, I spent eleven years at Public Art Fund, most recently as Director of Digital Strategies, where I oversaw the organization’s digital presence and collaborated across teams to translate ambitious public art projects for audiences in New York City and beyond. Earlier in my career, at the Queens Museum, I launched the institution’s early social media initiatives—work that now feels like a lifetime ago in internet years.
In July 2025, I began my term as Board President of ArtTable, the leading national organization dedicated to advancing the leadership of women and nonbinary professionals in the visual arts. I was elected to the board in 2023, after more than a decade as a member. In addition, I highlight women in creative fields through freelance writing, with features in The Fold Mag and Good Company Magazine.
Beyond my professional work, I remain deeply connected to my home city. In 2018, I ran for and was elected to the Queens Democratic County Committee, where I continue to serve, and that same year, I received a Hispanic and Latinx Leadership Award from the New York City Council.
I hold a Master’s degree in Arts and Cultural Management from Pratt Institute and Bachelor’s degree in Art Education with a concentration in Photography from SUNY New Paltz. My roots in the arts run deep, beginning as a teenager at New York City’s LaGuardia High School for Music & Art and Performing Arts.
